Living The Mission Of MLK JR. Day of Service

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is,

What are you doing for others?’”

-Martin Luther King Jr.

Many people don’t realize that Martin Luther King Jr. Day was actually proposed as a day on, rather than a day off: a day of service when people could take time and give back to their communities. And that’s exactly what we did. At ConsejoSano, we believe that small steps can leave big footprints, a lesson that Martin Luther King Jr. taught so very well. We work daily to follow in his footsteps, striving to make lives better for others.
